Mazda5 (Mazda 5) with 16 inch wheels
This page was prepared assuming others would be interested to see what 16-inch wheels look like, replacing the original 17-inchers on the 2006 Mazda 5. This wheel was borrowed from a 1999 Nissan Maxima SE. I wanted to confirm the fit, but also get an idea of how a less aggressive wheel looked cosmetically. I think I like it better than the stock ones.
The other issue that I had in mind was the question of whether 15-inch wheels would fit. Since some Mazda 5's are delivered in Europe with 15-inch wheels, I was thinking the answer would be yes, but having seen the clearance (see image at right) I question this now. The clearance between the 16s and the brake caliper is about a centimeter.
